Vi Thatcher Trophy Awarded for the best nett score in Handicap Index : plus - 20.4
18 holes strokeplay competition for all Handicap Indexes. Both gross and nett scores count toward the various trophies.
Played around the beginning of May, this event is open to all lady members of the Association.

Vi Thatcher Trophypresented in 1982 by Miss Vi Thatcher of Gosforth GC – County Vice Captain 1957-1962, County Captain 1966-1967, First County Competitions Secretary 1971-77, President 1980-1981.
Norah Baker Trophypresented by Mrs Norah Baker of Alnmouth in 1984.

Clarence Smith Salverpresented on 1921 by Mrs Clarence Smith of Hexham GC – first County Vice President in 1920.
Mary Percy Salverpresented in 1976 by Mrs Mary Percy of Alnmouth GC – County Captain 1986-1987.
Mildred Adamson Jugpresented in 1976 by Mrs Mildred Adamson of Whitley Bay GC when County President – Chairman of Northern Division of ELGA 1990.
Grace Storey Trophypresented in 1999 by Mrs Lou Stewart having received it from Mrs Grace Storey of Whitley Bay GC – Past County Captain & President.
