The Durnell Team Trophy competition is for teams of 4 ladies who should all be members of the same Golf Club.
The theme for 2026 from Captain helen is below
This is my charity day so the colours can be a mix. The priory school in Hexham is rainbow colours and the people’s kitchen are predominantly pink but feel free to also wear military attire as many forces personnel fall on hard times.
The format is 18 holes Stableford with the best 3 scores to count at each hole. Each player gets their full handicap allowance.
The Trophy
The Durnell Trophy was presented in 2004 by the then President of the NLCGA, Mrs Moira Durnell.
Proceeds from this event go to the current Captain’s chosen charity. For 2025, our Captain, Helen has chosen Priory School, Hexham and The Peoples’ Kitchen as her charities.
