As the evenings close in and the final Championships have been completed, we need to acknowledge the help the county has received from all the people who ensured that over 30 Championships could be held this year. These Championships covered both Junior Boy’s and Girls events, Men’s & Ladies events plus Senior Men’s and Ladies events. With over 1000 players (confirm number) taking part in these Championships, starting at Leasowe in April and finishing at Vale Royal in October, we needed lots of starters, referees and other helpers to ensure they run smoothly. Our thanks go to all these people and hope they will continue to provide that help in 2026.
We can’t hold so many Championships plus a season of county matches without the assistance of many clubs across the county and especially their green’s staff, catering staff, members and secretaries who help set up and prepare the course and club house for our players.
Below is a summary of this season’s Championships and the players who took the honours at these events. Congratulations to all of you. The schedule for the 2026 season is taking shape and will be available from November.
