A group of ten ladies enjoyed a very sunny taster day at Bellingham Golf Club. The taster day will be followed by some group coaching sessions all made possible by a grant from NLCGA. Several clubs have benefitted from NLCGA grants this year to encourage more ladies to take up golf. Similar grants will be available next season.
The ladies started on the putting green with pro Martin Forster before moving onto the range and finally a hotly contested short hole with the winner receiving a bottle of prosecco. A very successful fun filled afternoon with lots of enthusiastic smiling ladies.
