Rafferty takes the honours at Eaton OOM
Eaton Golf Club was the venue for the penultimate Order of Merit of the 2025 season.
Congratulations to Royal Norwich’s Sean Rafferty who carded an excellent 69 (1 under) to win the Scratch competition at Eaton Golf Club in the latest Order of Merit event. Rafferty’s score was just one ahead of home member Quin Monaghan and Bawburgh’s Brandon Hobley, and he now leads the overall Scratch OOM table. In the Handicap Competition, James Martin of Dunston Hall (receiving 8 shots) was victorious with a superb net 66, two shots clear of Bawburgh’s Jacob Jeary. Martin now moves into second place in the overall Handicap OOM table behind Richard Abbs of Mundesley. Norfolk County Golf Union would like to Eaton GC for their hospitality and extends congratulations to all the players who took part. The final Order of Merit event will be held at Middleton Hall GC on Sunday 31st August.
