Norfolk success at South East Schools Regional Final
Norfolk s talented juniors were out in force this week at the South East Schools Regional Finals held at Cainhoe Golf Club in Bedfordshire.
Norfolk was well represented this week at the South East Schools Regional Finals held at Cainhoe GC, in what became a gruelling 27-hole contest played in very tough conditions.
A huge congratulations to Liam Caffyn and Theo Pudney, who finished 4th and 5th overall with superb scores of 117 and 119, respectively. Their outstanding performance has earned both boys a well-deserved place in the South East Schools Regional Team for the National Finals at Woodhall Spa on 22–23 June.
Liam also picked up a prize for finishing 2nd in the morning 18 holes
The overall team showed great resilience and spirit throughout the competition. Norfolk finished a fantastic second place, just three shots behind Essex in the team standings.
An excellent result in a tightly contested event.
