Northern Counties Golf League – 2024
We opened our Northern Counties League season against Lancashire at the wonderful Hillside Golf Club.
The spoils were shared in the morning foursomes, but Lancashire forged ahead in the middle order of the singles. The weather then intervened with a massive electrical storm. With no prospect of play being completed by 7.30pm, in line with the rules the last four incomplete matches were declared halves, leaving Lancashire 10-8 winners.
